Our U13 girls played their forth game of the season yesterday evening, Tuesday, May 17th. They travelled to Lifford where they took on Naomh Pádraig in Pairc MacDairmada.

Lifford got the opening score of the game from play, but that was responded to immediately by Naomh Ultan's Clodagh Murray. This was added to moments later when Chloe McCallig netted to put Naomh Ultan in the lead. Sarah Hegarty pointed and it looked as if they were pushing on, however Lifford reacted and got a goal of their own to make it 1-1 to 1-2. Hegarty finished off a nice move for her side to make it two goals for Naomh Ultan, and that was followed by their third goal just before the interval, this time coming from the boot of Niamh Gallagher. Things continued very much from where they left off in the second half, Chloe McCallig grabbed her second goal of the evening to make it four goals for her team. This was followed by a score from her sister, Cara with a point from play. Nicole Murphy pointed after and before two Lifford points midway through the half and this was Naomh Ultan's game for the taking if they didn't concede any goals. They did just that and late on as the game was drawing to a close Naomh Ultan's Aobhinn McGinley and Cara McCallig got a score each to help their team on the way to a good performance. Deserving winners in the end, congratulations to the girls and their management on their second win on the bounce. Thanks to Naomh Pádraig for a sporting game and best of luck to them for the rest of the league.
