Couch to 5k -

As part of the GAA Healthy Clubs Project we're running a Couch to 5k from January 23rd to February 27th, each Sunday at 12:30pm starting at Dunkineely Community Centre. Those taking part can walk, jog or run our 5km route and all are welcome to join in. Steps can be logged as part of our MyLife/GAA Every Step Counts 2022 challenge, make sure to register on the Irish Life My Life app!

Big well done to all those who did our Couch to 5k yesterday, weather was much better than the previous week. As a club we've completed 3400km in three weeks and are well on course to reach the 4000km. See you all back again next Sunday at 12:3opm

Every Step Counts 2022 -

MyLife's latest challenge in partnership with the GAA Community & Health department is Every Step Counts 2022.

If our club manages to track a collective 4,000km over 5 weeks between 19th January - 23rd February we'll be entered into the prize draw. To take part simply download the MyLife app or register at the following link. In the app, select Social, then Challenges and click into Ulster GAA - Every Step Counts. You'll be able to select Naomh Ultan as your club then.

As of this morning, we're 3400km collectively. If we mange to track 4,000km by 23rd February we'll be entered into the prize draw, so currently well on course to hit that target. Thanks to all who have got out and tracked their steps, great to see so much activity in our club and community!

The Lidl Plus LGFA Stamp Card Rewards Scheme is back!

Starting today, Monday, February 7th 2022 the Lidl Plus LGFA Stamp Card Rewards Scheme returns. The club is in with a chance to raise up to €20,000, rewards begin at a set of new jerseys for clubs that collect at least 50 stamp cards and go right up to €5,000 in cash funding for 500 or more completed stamp cards. In addition, the club in each province that collects the most stamp cards overall will win a top prize of €20,000. Royal Flush Lotto -

Royal Flush Lotto results for 06/02/2022 were 2, 13, 15 & 17. There was no winner of the jackpot of €740, consolation prizes went to Shane McGlynn, Jennifer Bach & Margaret Quigley. Next week's jackpot now stands at €760.

Club Membership & Club Membership Registration Evening 2022 -

Our Membership for 2022 is now open online. You can register on our website www.naomhultan.com or via our ClubZap app. We will be holding a Club Membership Registration evening this Wednesday, February 9th in our clubhouse. It will run from 7pm to 8pm. Club membership prices are as follows for 2022 -

• Adult Playing: €60
• General Membership: €40
• Student: €30
• GAA Juvenile: €20
• LGFA Juvenile: €20
• Family Membership: €90

FitLine -

Age & Opportunity have a Physical Activity initiative for older adults, FitLine, supported and funded by Sport Ireland and Healthy Ireland’s Keep Well Campaign.

FitLine is a telephone based service run by volunteers to encourage participants to be more physically active. Age & Opportunity often recommend groups on Get Ireland Walking to current FitLine participants and think that FitLine would be of great benefit to any of your participants or club members who are eligible.
