Couch to 5k -

As part of the GAA Healthy Clubs Project we're running a "Couch to 5k" from January 23rd to February 27th, each Sunday at 12:30pm starting at Dunkineely Community Centre. Those taking part can walk, jog or run our 5km route and all are welcome to join in. Steps can be logged as part of our MyLife/GAA Every Step Counts 2022 challenge, make sure to register on the Irish Life My Life app!

We'd another great turnout yesterday, huge well done to all who braved the wind and the rain, it was a wild one. We hope to see everyone back next Sunday and for anyone interested in getting out and active, you're more than welcome to take part!

Every Step Counts 2022 -

MyLife's latest challenge in partnership with the GAA Community & Health department is Every Step Counts 2022.

If our club manages to track a collective 4,000km over 5 weeks between 19th January - 23rd February we'll be entered into the prize draw. To take part simply download the MyLife app or register at the following link. In the app, select Social, then Challenges and click into Ulster GAA - Every Step Counts. You'll be able to select Naomh Ultan as your club then.

As of this morning, Monday January 31st we're on 2,100km collectively. If we mange to track 4,000km by 23rd February we'll be entered into the prize draw, so currently well on course to hit that target. Thanks to all who have got out and tracked their steps, great to see so much activity in our club and community!

Royal Flush Lotto -

Royal Flush Lotto results for 30/01/2022 were 4, 10, 11 & 19. There was no winner of the jackpot of €720, consolation prizes went to Joe Kennedy, John Cassidy & Dessie Gallagher. Next week's jackpot now stands at €740.

Club Membership & Club Membership Registration Evening 2022 -

Our Membership for 2022 is now open online. You can register on our website www.naomhultan.com or via our ClubZap app. We will be holding a Club Membership Registration evening on Wednesday, February 9th in our clubhouse. It will run from 7pm to 8pm. Club membership prices are as follows for 2022 -

• Adult Playing: €60
• General Membership: €40
• Student: €30
• GAA Juvenile: €20
• LGFA Juvenile: €20
• Family Membership: €90

Donegal GAA & Club+ Season Tickets -

This year the season tickets cost the following -

• Adult: €150
• Juvenile: €30
• Adult Club+: €250

With a season ticket for 2022 you get tickets to all Allianz Football League Games for your county, the Allianz Football League Finals, first championship game for your county, access to buy your county's remaining championship games

One Championship opt out will qualify you for All Ireland Final tickets should your county qualify. You also have access to bring a friend when available and tickets to the AIB Senior Club Finals. There is no minimum attendance requirement to qualify for All Ireland Final tickets and no cards will be used - All League and Match tickets will be available on your GAA Season Ticket account.

Season ticket holders manage Championship ticket purchases. You must purchase your own tickets on your season ticket account when available before each championship match.

Good luck Dermot McGlynn & LYIT Mens Sigerson team -

LYIT Mens Sigerson team are in action again tomorrow, Tuesday February 1st in the 2022 Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup Quarter Final. They produced a massive victory last week to see off University College Dublin and seal a last eighth berth in this year's championship, winning a tight game on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-6 at the Donegal GAA Centre, Convoy.

They now take on NUI Galway in Dangan, Galway at 6:3opm on Tuesday, best of luck to our club player Dermot McGlynn and the team in this one!

Luke Gallagher and the LYIT Mens Freshers team were victorious last Thursday against Queen's University, Belfast also in the Donegal GAA Centre, Convoy. They finished joint top of their regional league however just missed out on getting to the next round of the Championship. A successful campaign for this side and Luke nonetheless, they won their league in late December.

Congratulations Martin Cunningham -

Congratulations to our underage coach and mentor Martin Cunningham who won gold in the M40 1500m at the National Masters Indoor Championships in Athlone yesterday. A winning time of 4:17.32.

Martin successfully defended his National Outdoor M40 1500m title last September and has continued his excellent form into 2022. Join us in congratulating Martin on another fantastic achievement and in wishing him the best of luck for the rest of the 2022 season. He is now preparing for the European Masters Athletics Championships 2022 in Portugal in a couple of weeks!
