Couch to 5k -

As part of the GAA Healthy Clubs Project we started our `Couch to 5k` on Sunday, January 23rd. It will be running for 5 weeks from January 23rd to February 27th, each Sunday at 12:30pm starting at Dunkineely Community Centre. Those partaking can walk, jog or run our 5km route, all are welcome to join in. Steps can be logged as part of our MyLife/GAA Every Step Counts 2022 challenge, make sure to register on the Irish Life My Life app!

We'd a great turnout for our first week, thanks and a massive well done to all who took part. We hope to see all back next weekend and for anyone interested in getting out and active, you're more than welcome to partake!

Every Step Counts 2022 -

MyLife's latest challenge in partnership with the GAA Community & Health department is Every Step Counts 2022.

If our club manages to track a collective 4,000km over 5 weeks between 19th January - 23rd February we'll be entered into the prize draw. To take part simply download the MyLife app or register at the following link. In the app, select Social, then Challenges and click into Ulster GAA - Every Step Counts. You'll be able to select Naomh Ultan as your club then.

Royal Flush Lotto -

Royal Flush Lotto results for 23/01/2022 were 6, 10, 13 & 23. There was no winner of the jackpot of €700, consolation prizes went to Sean Furey, Edward Kyles & Marie McGuinness. Next week's jackpot now stands at €720.

Our Membership for 2022 is now open. You can register on our website www.naomhultan.com or via our ClubZap app. As ratified at our AGM in November, the prices for 2022 are the following:

Adult Playing: €60

General Membership: €40

Student: €30

GAA Juvenile: €20

LGFA Juvenile: €20

Family Membership: €90

Bord Na nÓg Coaches 2022 -

There will be a meeting on Friday, January 28th at 7:30pm in our clubhouse for our underage team coaches. If anyone is interested in getting involved with our Academy, U9, U11, U13 or U15 teams in 2022 we'd ask you to please attend or contact our Bord Na nÓg chairperson, Peter McFarlane (086 864 6709) prior to the meeting.

It is of great importance that we continue to provide football to our underage players in a safe and fun environment, that cannot be accomplished without volunteers coaching them and helping in their development. All relevant training will be provided through the club, therefore this is a great opportunity to get involved!

LYIT Mens Sigerson team are in action again tomorrow, Tuesday January 25th in the 2022 Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup. Last week they lost out to UL in Round 2, that game was played in the newly opened NUI Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome in Mayo. They now face University College Dublin in Round 3 of the tournament, a home game for them in Donegal GAA Centre, Convoy. Throw in is scheduled for 6pm. Best of luck to Dermot and the team!

On Thursday, January 27th, the LYIT Mens Freshers team are in Freshers Championship competition again. They take on Queen's University, Belfast at 8:30pm in the Donegal GAA Centre, Convoy. They picked up a win last week against St. Marys, Belfast and will need a result in this fixture to progress in the Championship. Good luck to Luke and the Freshers team in this one!
