Our U14 Girls made it three wins from three games this afternoon, Saturday, July 31st. They welcomed Chill Chartha to Pairc Naomh Ultan and started well, a goal straight away which came from the boot of Orlaith Gallagher. Clodagh Murray and Rachel Murphy both pointed soon after to put them 1-2 to 0-0 up. Kilcar got on the scoreboard with a point from play before Michaela Murray got on the scoresheet to finish out the first quarter of the game.

Naomh Ultan continued from where they left off after the water break, Sarah Hegarty pointing as did Michaela Murray once again. Kilcar did respond getting two scores of their own to make it a score of 1-5 to 0-3 at half time. True to how they started the game and the restart, the start of the second half had Naomh Ultan flying out of the traps. Hegarty pointed from play and then got her side's second goal of the game. Soon after, Michaela Murray added to her tally by hitting the Kilcar net to really put distance between the two teams. Kilcar reacted with a score of their own, but Nicole Murphy and then Michaela Murray again sent balls over the ball to keep the scoreboard ticking. After searching for a while Kilcar did get a deserved goal right before the water break.

They continued to surge after the restart, pointing three consecutive times. Sarah Hegarty lengthened the gap as the game neared its close with a point from play and Melissa O'Shea ended the game with a point of her own right at the end. A convincing win for Naomh Ultan however Kilcar made them work hard to earn it, well done to the girls and their management team. Another great result for them!
