Our seniors travelled to Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin on Saturday, June 21st. Muff started the brighter getting two goals on the bounce to make things very difficult for Naomh Ultan, however as the first half progressed they slowly clawed back the deficit. It was Cian Kennedy's free on the 21st minute that drew the sides level, Naomh Ultan then pushed on getting two more frees which were slotted over by Kennedy again. Muff registered their first point in the last minute of the half to leave things tight at the interval - Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin 2-1 Naomh Ultan 0-8

Muff struck first to level the tie, Naomh Ultan responded with two frees of their own to to leave them two up. Both sides traded scores but Muff rallied midway through the half and after 46 minutes they levelled proceedings to give us a nail biting last quarter. They pointed again on the 51st minute to give them the lead, Naomh Ultan pushed hard and had their chances, peppering the Muff goal but they remained very resilient and a top save from their keeper in the dying minutes set them up the snatch the spoils. They popped over a 45 late on to wrap up things, a disappointing defeat for Naomh Ultan as there were chances. Have to dust themselves off now as they are back out next Saturday, June 26th in Pairc Naomh Ultan when they welcome Pettigo.
