Our U17 team made the short journey to Eamonn Byrne Memorial Park, Fintra were they took on Na Cealla Beaga in the first round of the Southern Regional Board Minor Division 2 League last night, Friday, June 13th.
A strong Na Cealla Beaga side came out comfortable winners in the end, with our team fielding some young players playing at Minor level for the first time and missing a few of the more experienced players. A disappointing result but experience gained and lessons learned, they can look forward to their next fixture at home to Naomh Columba next Friday, June 18th at 7:30pm.
