๐๐ถ๐ถโโ๏ธIreland Lights Up 2026 ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐
The GAA is delighted to announce that Ireland Lights Up and the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge will return on January 7th 2026, running over 5 weeks until the 11th of February bringing communities. across the country together once again in a shared commitment to health, fitness, and wellbeing.
Now entering its ninth year, Ireland Lights Up has grown into one of the most inclusive and successful community health initiatives in the country. Each winter, hundreds of GAA clubs open their gates and light up their walking tracks, pitches, and community spaces, offering safe, bright, and welcoming environments for people of all ages and abilities to get active. In partnership with Irish Life, the GAAโs Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge will run alongside Ireland Lights Up, encouraging clubs to collectively track their steps and support one another in building healthy habits through the darker winter months. The challenge has become a major highlight of the Healthy Clubs calendar, with 1,046 clubs tracking 7 million kilometres in just 5 weeks in 2025. The club will be in with a chance of winning a Share of โฌ30,000 if we reach the collective target of 4,000km!

As part of our ongoing commitment to the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs programme, we're excited to have launched the Re-Turn Community Recycling Initiative at Pรกirc Naomh Ultan!
Re-Turn bins are available within our club grounds, providing an easy way for everyone in the community to contribute. This initiative not only helps reduce litter and protect our environment but also raises valuable funds for the club.

๐ Ulster LGFA Coaching Workshops 2026 ๐
Ulster Ladies Gaelic are delighted to announce 4 new informal coaching workshops for 2026. For 2026 they have decided to spread the workshops across 4 venues in Ulster to allow a wide range of coaches to attend from different regions in the province. Their is limited spaces at each workshop, so if interested get your spot booked.
The workshops are on the following dates and venues:

Tuesday 3 February: In Game Coaching Workshop - Culloville GAC, Armagh
