CLG Naomh Ultan extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Hugh Kennedy, who has sadly passed away.
Hughโs close and extended family have been at the heart of our club from the very beginning - both on and off the field. Having recently marked his 100th birthday surrounded by loved ones, it is with deep sadness that we learn of his passing.
Thank you so much for your continued support, and congratulations to all our consolation prize winners! ๐ Winnings will be left in Floyd's Mace for collections.

๐๐ Bord Na nรg Car Wash & Bake Sale ๐ฐ๐ง
Our Bord na nรg hosted a hugely successful Car Wash and Bake Sale last Saturday. Thankfully, the weather stayed dry - ideal for our car wash in the club car park, which kicked off at 9am. Meanwhile, our Academy and U10 teams were out on the pitch for training, creating a lively atmosphere from early on.
The Anglo-Celt Cup arrived at the clubhouse for photo opportunities, just as preparations got underway for our Bake Sale, which opened at 11am.
A massive thank you to all the parents, children, members, and supporters who baked and brought in an incredible variety of delicious treats. The quality was clear - most of the goodies were snapped up quickly!
Throughout the day, we also held two fun competitions:
"Guess how many sweets in the jar", won by Jenna and Clara Murrin
"Guess how many balloons in Brocโs van", won by Jamie McFadden
It was a brilliant family day, welcoming both new and long-standing members. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support our Bord na nรg teams. With our U15s heading to the National Regional Fรฉile finals at the end of the month, this fundraiser couldnโt have come at a better time!

โซ๏ธ๐ก Open Day for local National Schools โซ๏ธ๐ก
On Friday, June 6th, we were delighted to welcome all our local schools - Bruckless NS, Dunkineely NS & Killaghtee NS to Pรกirc Naomh Ultan for a fantastic Open Day. Although the weather looked uncertain as the first children arrived, it soon cleared up, allowing the event to run smoothly and successfully.
A huge thank you to the three schools, their teachers, and SNAs for accepting our invitation and bringing the children along. Over 100 kids filled the pitch and clubhouse throughout the day, bringing wonderful energy and excitement!
Well done to all the children, who participated with great enthusiasm while remaining very well-mannered. The main goal of our Open Day was for everyone to have fun, and itโs safe to say that was certainly achieved! Each child received a certificate and a small token of appreciation for taking part at the end of the day.
Finally, a special word of thanks to all the coaches who generously gave up their free time to help make the day such a success. This event was made possible by our Re-Turn Community Recycling Initiative, with all funds used for todayโs activities coming from the scheme currently running at our club grounds.
Thank you to everyone involved for making it a memorable day! โซ๏ธ๐ก
