The CLG Naomh Ultan Academy will continue this Saturday, May 17th from 9:30am to 10:15am at Pรกirc Naomh Ultan.
Open to all children aged 4 to 8, our Academy offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the skills of the game, make new friends, and stay fit and healthy. Most importantly, it provides a safe and welcoming environment for fun and enjoyment!
Looking forward to seeing all the children back for football and fun this Saturday! โซ๏ธ๐ก
๐ Movember Ahead of The Game Workshop ๐
On Wednesday, May 7th, the club hosted a Movember "Ahead of the Game" workshop for our underage players, coaches, and parents. Developed by the GAA and GPA in partnership with Movember - this programme tackles the vital issue of mental fitness and resilience in Irish society.
A huge thank you to our fantastic facilitators, Finnian Cawley and Thomasina Cassidy, for delivering such an engaging and insightful session. We also extend our thanks to all the underage players, coaches, and parents who participated so enthusiastically.
This is a workshop every club should consider hosting - it covers an essential topic that helps participants better understand mental health, build resilience, and support one another both on and off the pitch.

We hosted the workshop: Explaining Drugs & Alcohol โ The Effects & Where To Get Help for our adult members and the wider community on Monday, May 12th.
A thank you to our brilliant coordinator, Christina McEleney, from Donegal ETB/North West Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force, for delivering such an engaging and informative session. Weโre also grateful to everyone who took the time to attend and contribute to the discussion.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs programme, we're excited to have launched the Re-Turn Community Recycling Initiative at Pรกirc Naomh Ultan!
Re-Turn bins are available within our club grounds, providing an easy way for everyone in the community to contribute. This initiative not only helps reduce litter and protect our environment but also raises valuable funds for the club.

CLG Naomh Ultan are providing our members and community an opportunity to take part in a Boot Swap. Do you have any football boots that no longer fit? Would you like to swap them for a bigger size?

๐ข๐ก Donegal LGFA Summer Camp Dates ๐ข๐ก
The Donegal LGFA Summer Camps with the Stars will be taking place in various locations in 2025.
These are the dates and general areas where the camps will be held.
30th June to 3rd July - Letterkenny area
7th July to 10th July - Rosses area
21st July to 24th July - Donegal Town area
5th Aug to 8th Aug - Inishowen area
The camp venues will be sent out as soon as they are confirmed!

The new season is getting underway across all clubs and we look forward to working with you all over the coming year. Please see below the details of some upcoming events and resources to assist you and your members and we would appreciate if you can promote them to your relevant personnel.
LGFA Administrator Pathway Success doesnโt just happen on the pitch. It is the result of strong teamwork off the pitch too and effective administrators are central to all activities of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association across club, county, provincial and national levels. The LGFA Administrator Pathway is a self-led development initiative aimed at supporting volunteer administrators at their level enabling them to receive support at a time when they need it, and specific to their role. Club School Links Programme The LGFA has developed a recognition programme for club-school links, enabling clubs and schools to formalise the excellent work they are already doing and supporting them to develop further opportunities. This can recognise the great work you are currently undertaking as a club or future engagements.
